Ben Hall Blanks Dallas, 1-0
|
The Dallas Wranglers were almost helpless in their 1-0 loss to the Twin Cities Northmen and hurler Ben Hall. Hall kept the Wranglers confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout.
"Tip your hat to Hall," Dallas manager William Albrecht said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."
The 25-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance.
"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Hall said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
This year, Hall has a 4-2 record with a 2.67 ERA.
