Kansas City Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Bulls fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Kansas City Bulls grabbed a win, 8-7, over the San Diego Captains at Independence Field. Kansas City shortstop Randy Colbourne went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The winner was Jim Miller in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Darryl Armstrong took the loss.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Kansas City. That's when Rod Kremer hit a 2-run home run off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Darryl Armstrong to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Colbourne said.

The Bulls improved their record to 23-30 by beating San Diego.
