Lords Score Late, Stun Seagulls, 6-4
|
The Baltimore Lords locked up a win at Seton Hill Stadium, knocking off the San Francisco Seagulls, 6-4. On the mound for Baltimore was left-hander Bart Dunsley. He played a major role in the triumph. Baltimore, now 32-35, holds down 5th place in the American Baseball League Eastern Division.
Baltimore went up, 6-4, on James Pendleton's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Pendleton hit in the bottom of the eighth, left San Francisco pitcher Mike Silver shaking his head.
"It was a solid team effort," Pendleton said. "That's usually what it takes to win."
