Philadelphia Shuts Out Eagles, Klug Winner Wednesday, April 7th , 1971 Philadelphia Quakers hurler Darrell Klug was at his best as he beat the Washington Eagles, 7-0. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Washington manager Wally Christensen. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit."
