Davis Tosses 2-0 Shutout Against Los Angeles
Sunday, May 4th , 1975
It was not a good day at the plate for the Los Angeles Pobladores. They came up empty when it mattered against Atlanta Generals right-hander Bill Davis, who scattered 6 hits across 9 innings and held the Pobladores scoreless.
"We had 6 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson said later.
Davis chalked up 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 2-0 Generals win.
This year, Davis has a 2-3 record with a 3.92 ERA in 6 starts.
