Friday, May 16th , 1975
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Pittsburgh's 3-2 win over Washington, left fielder Don Keough was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Allegheny Field.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Keough said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

Don Keough grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th, doubled in the 14th and hit an RBI double in the 15th.

This season, Keough has hit 16 home runs and posted a .331 batting average.
