Bobcats Holt Down with Injury Thursday, July 3rd , 1969 It took the Cleveland team doctor a while to realize it, but right fielder Rodney Holt won't simply play through torn cartilage in his shoulder after he got hurt throwing the ball in today's Knickerbockers-Bobcats game. At first, it looked like Holt might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 7-8 weeks. Posting a .192 batting average to date, Holt has 14 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
