Hull Breezes to Shutout Victory Tuesday, August 1st , 1967 Magic was in the air and on the mound at Roman Arena today as Chris Hull held the Cincinnati Packers spellbound in his 5-0 shutout victory. The New York Knickerbockers pitcher went the distance, rang up 1 strikeout, walked 4 and held the Packers to 5 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Cincinnati manager Martin Abresch said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him."
