Sokol Crafts 3-0 Shutout Versus Chicago Thursday, June 16th , 1977 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Chicago Hawks as starter Charlie Sokol shut them out, 3-0, at Hyde Park Stadium. The Dallas pitcher struck out 4 and walked 3 while allowing 2 hits. "Sokol was good but he wasn't flawless," Chicago manager Mike Flaherty said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Dallas, but this is on us."
