Curry Struts Stuff in Win Over Philadelphia Monday, May 27th , 1974 Philadelphia were shut out, 2-0, by Bill Curry and the Brooklyn Bluebirds at Flatbush Park. The Quakers offered little resistance to Curry, who stopped them on 2 hits, fanned 4 and walked 6. "It just felt right today," the left-handed Curry told reporters after the win.
