Clabaugh Pitches 4-0 Shutout for Cincinnati

Cincinnati pitcher Joe Clabaugh put on a show and walked away with a shutout victory, 4-0, over the Brooklyn Bluebirds, throttling them on 5 hits. He cruised through the Bluebirds lineup, fanning 3 and walking 1 in a strong outing.

"He was very efficient and he hit his spots," Packers manager Martin Abresch said after the game. "He stayed down in the zone and stayed away from the middle of the plate."

Checking out his stats for the season, Clabaugh has registered 9 wins and 4 losses in 16 starts, posted a 3.37 ERA, and struck out 76 batters in 117.2 innings.
