Rodela Crafts 5-0 Shutout Versus Toronto Wednesday, July 24th , 1974 Oscar Rodela kept the Toronto Hurons hitters from doing much damage at LaSalle Stadium. Toronto could only muster 5 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Rodela, who controlled them throughout the game. Montreal won the contest, 5-0. Rodela added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Rodela told reporters after the shutout win.
