Baltimore Shuts Out Atlanta Behind Fredrick, 5-0
Saturday, June 28th , 1975
Baltimore's John Fredrick brought his best stuff to Seton Hill Stadium, shutting down and shutting out the Atlanta Generals, 5-0. He racked up 5 strikeouts, surrendered 3 hits, and issued 1 walk on his way to the victory.
"We barely made him work at all," Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie said later. "Baltimore could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted."
To date this season, Fredrick has compiled a 5-4 record with a 3.69 ERA in 13 starts.
