Ovitt Holds Baltimore Scoreless Friday, July 11th , 1975 Gary Ovitt was dynamite at Atlantic Station Field, blowing away the Baltimore Lords in a shutout victory. The Atlanta Generals starter had everything working as he held the Lords to 5 hits in the 1-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Baltimore skipper Steve Read. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Ovitt finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks.
