Horton Sizzles -- Smokes Emeralds for 5 Hits

Don Horton had an answer for everything the Seattle Emeralds threw at him at San Vicente Park. The Los Angeles catcher went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Pobladores a win, 7-4.
Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Horton said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
Don Horton hit a solo-shot off Fred Wild in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year, Horton has hit at a .292 pace and produced 3 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 3 runs.
