Quakers Blanked by Abril, 7-0 Tuesday, September 19th , 1967 New York Knickerbockers hurler Danny Abril logged a 5-hit, complete game shutout over the Quakers, stopping them 7-0 at Knickerbocker Stadium today. "I felt great out there," Abril said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 10 strikeouts and gave up 3 walks in the performance. In 14 starts this season Abril has fashioned a 2-7 record and a 4.06 ERA.
