Crabtree Tags Blockbusters for 5 Hits

Denver Burros first baseman John Crabtree banged out 5 hits, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 12-11. He went 5-for-8 and raised his batting average a few points.
"If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Crabtree said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins."
John Crabtree hit a solo-shot off Joe Hamby in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Joe Hamby in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th, grounded out in the 12th and grounded out in the 15th.
Currently Crabtree is batting .300 with 11 home runs and 73 RBIs.
