Thursday, July 26th , 1973
Jerry Patrick was dynamite at Bluff Park, blowing away the Dallas Wranglers in a shutout victory. The San Francisco Seagulls starter had everything working as he held the Wranglers to 5 hits in the 10-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Dallas skipper William Albrecht. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Patrick finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk.
Checking out his stats for the year, Patrick has racked up 10 wins and 5 losses in 22 starts, posted a 2.92 ERA, and struck out 96 batters in 163.1 innings.
