Troy Stallings Out of Lineup 4-5 Weeks Wednesday, August 11th , 1971 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Captains when after today's game against the Dairymen, the club found out they would be without the services of Troy Stallings for at least 4-5 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Stallings was injured earlier today running the bases and suffered a strained muscle in his back. In 1971 Stallings has hit at a .309 clip with 128 hits, 16 home runs, 73 RBIs and has scored 58 times. |
