Lopez Shuts Out Chicago, 7-0 Wednesday, August 24th , 1977 Arturo Lopez was dynamite at Mission Field, blowing away the Chicago Hawks in a shutout victory. The San Francisco Seagulls starter had everything working as he held the Hawks to 6 hits in the 7-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Chicago skipper Mike Flaherty. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Lopez finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk.
