ABL's Top Player Named Monday, July 30th , 1973 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Toronto's Jorge Luna put up last week were the envy of the league, as Luna came away with American Baseball League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week as he posted his .440 batting average. Luna is currently batting .327 with 17 home runs and 58 RBIs. |
