Rodela Shuts Out Detroit, 2-0 Saturday, August 16th , 1975 Oscar Rodela was dynamite at LaSalle Stadium, blowing away the Detroit Wolverines in a shutout victory. The Montreal Habitants starter had everything working as he held the Wolverines to 1 hit in the 2-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Detroit skipper Alex Wobbema. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Rodela finished the game with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks.
