Patrick at His Best, Whips Generals Saturday, August 28th , 1971 Jerry Patrick handcuffed the Atlanta Generals at Mission Field, coming away with a 7-hit, complete game shutout. "I had everything working for me out there," the San Francisco Seagulls right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With his stuff working, Patrick had little trouble with the Generals and led the Seagulls to victory, 4-0. He recorded 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
