Crumm Pitches Hurons to Shutout Victory Monday, September 6th , 1971 Toronto hurler Dan Crumm put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Montreal Habitants with a 4-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 4 hits with 10 strikeouts and 2 walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Montreal manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon told reporters after the game.
