Cincinnati No Match for Baird
Tuesday, September 16th , 1975
Myron Baird was in a mood to talk following the Cleveland Bobcats contest against the Cincinnati Packers, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Packers, 4-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Baird said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-hander blanked Cincinnati on a 5-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 7 strikeouts.

This season to date, Baird has a record of 17 wins and 9 losses with a 2.48 ERA, has appeared in 33 games and struck out 150 in 228.2 innings.
