Lords Pardoe Suffers Setback Thursday, December 14th , 1967 John Pardoe, starting pitcher for the Baltimore Lords, was making great progress in healing a ruptured elbow ligament according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "John was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 3 months before he will be able to rejoin the club." His career mark is 31 victories and 12 defeats. Pardoe also has struck out 415 batters and compiled a 2.01 ERA. |
