Conway Shackles Washington Friday, September 15th , 1972 Dick Conway had an impressive outing at Flatbush Park, hurling the Brooklyn Bluebirds to a 6-0 shutout victory over the Washington Eagles. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Washington skipper Juan Placeholder said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do.
