Detroit won the final game by a 9-1 count at Wolverine Field to clinch its spot in the next round. They will hope to once again rely on Plumley there, as he hit .278 with 2 home runs, 7 RBI 4 runs scored during the series. The Detroit Wolverines don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Denver Burros - San Diego Captains series. San Diego leads the series 3 games to 1.
