Parker Strokes 5 Hits Monday, September 23rd , 1974 Gary Parker did more than his part as the St. Louis Explorers topped the Kansas City Bulls, 17-6, at Independence Field. The Explorers right fielder pounded out 5 hits to pace his team. Gary Parker hit a two-run home run off Tim McDonald in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Willie Jones in the 9th.
