Jepperson Crafts 4-0 Shutout Versus New York Saturday, April 24th , 1976 Tim Jepperson kept the New York Empires hitters from doing much damage at Queens Field. New York could only muster 4 hits and draw 6 walks against the right-handed Jepperson, who controlled them throughout the game. Boston won the contest, 4-0. Jepperson added 3 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Jepperson told reporters after the shutout win.
