| The Wolverines were known as the Maroons during their first decade (1881-1890), but had worn blue or blue and gold for the ensuing forty years. This season they kept the same uniform design from the previous season but swapped out the blue for maroon again. Variations of that hue have remained a part of their brand through the present time. |
