| Brooklyn and Cincinnati adopted script lettering this year, following the trend initiated by Pittsburgh the previous season. The Bluebirds employed their distinct script on both their home and road jerseys, as well as a script “B” on their caps; the script has rarely been absent from their uniforms since. Similarly, Cincinnati’s “Packers” script was featured on most of their home uniform designs over the the following four decades. |
